This weeks schedule

Hi everyone! Most of you probably already have a hard copy of the schedule or have looked it up on the blog or the school website, and we are so glad that you have. But, due to some unforeseen scheduling surprises, everything for this week is different now. 

The week now looks like this:

Tuesday: 3:30-4:30 Squirrels, Veruca, Mr. Salt  

               4:15-5:00 All Oompa Loompas, Mike, Veruca, Violet and Augustus 

Wednesday: 3:30-4:15 Charlie, Mr. and Mrs. Bucket, Grandpa Joe, 

                    4:15-5:00 Wonka, Ticket Winners and Parents 

Thursday: Full Cast 1:25-3:00

Also, the rehearsal for the squirrels is mandatory. This will be their only chance to work with the choreographer and get sized for a costume, so if they miss it they will be unable to be part of the squirrel chorus. They will still be able to participate in the opening and closing numbers of the show, but that will be it. Thank you everyone for your patience and understanding with this project, we are doing everything we can to make sure we’re all ready!

Chorus Costumes!

Hello Wonka Parents!

   We are halfway to our production and the show is starting to come together! We are now entering the next phase of production and that means costumes! If your child has a lead then you should have received an email about what is needed. Any questions please talk to Maren or Steph. 

    If your child is in a chorus, Oompa loompa, Squirrel, Cook or Candy Gal or Candy Kid, then they will have their pieces put together by our costume directors. You can then pay for and receive the costumes on November 9th. If you have already purchased items and your child is in a chorus please reach out to your director and let them know. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Attached to this email are the costume sheets for each chorus costume. It lists the pieces you need to provide and the pieces provided by the costume directors. We do not have a price for each costume yet, but it should be $20 or below. Please let me know if this will be a problem for your student. I will also post the costume sheets here on the blog and send a note home with your students next Tuesday, which is a Full Cast rehearsal.

WORK DAYS--WEAR WORK CLOTHES:

Friday, November 3—pick up at 2:30

RUN THROUGH DAYS—with the actors:

Thursday, November 9—pick up at 5:00

Friday, November 10—pick up at 2:30

Monday, November 13 - Tuesday, November 14—pick up at 5:00 (Dress rehearsals, please wear crew t-shirt and dark pants)

PERFORMANCE DATES (wear all black clothing, including shoes, and your STAGE CREW t-shirt)

Wednesday, November 15—in school show, and evening show. Arrive at 5:15

Thursday, November 16—arrive at 5:15

Friday, November 17—matinee follows dismissal from school—pick up at about 4:15

Friday, November 17—arrive at 5:15 for evening performance

Mini-trampolines needed

We are looking for 1-2 mini trampolines for a scene in our show. You will get this back after the production has been wrapped. If you have one that you would let us borrow please let us know asap!
